Dodge Neon TechnologiesDodge Neon power plant range originally included two 2.0-liter motors that produced 133 hp and 152 hp depending on the version. Some time after the model was introduced there was a new 116-horsepower 1.8-liter engine added to the range. These engines are as a rule unitized with an automatic gearbox although there are five-speed manual ones also available. There is also a coupe along with Dodge Neon sedan. It is remarkable for reinforced suspension, disk brakes, ABS, sporty seats, and rear antiwing. The coupe features 155-horsepower 4-cylinder 2.0-liter engine. The coupe's top speed is over 200 km/h and it does 0 - 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds. Power plant is unitized with a five-speed manual gearbox and there is a three-speed automatic transmission on the option list. Dodge Neon SRT-4 sporty modification was available from 2003. This Neon version was provided with 2.4-liter turbo-charged motor that puts out 215 hp.
