The model provided with this power plant does 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds. Its maximum speed is 210 km/h.Second most popular engine is a 163-horsepower V6 engine. This model's top speed reaches 180 km/h and it takes 11 seconds to do 0-100 km/h.

Dodge Interpid isn't characterized by high fuel economy, quite on the contrary. One of the reasons is a four-speed automatic transmission, which is the only one transmission used. In 1996 it was replaced by an automatic gearbox with air speed shifting system. This gearbox is close to manual ones if compared in terms of its characteristics and operating algorithm.

The most widespread model that belongs to the second generation is a 204-horsepower 2.7-liter engine modification.

Dodge Interpid models provided with 3.2-liter engine are most rare ones because these are the cars with the most expensive kitting-up that feature them. Nevertheless this motor is only a bit more powerful than 2.7-liter one, it puts out 226 hp.

The rarest one is Dodge Interpid provided with 245-horsepower 3.5-liter engine.
